The Developmental Centre program is based in St. Michael School. This
program is highly individualized and utilizes a transdisciplinary model for
programming. Personnel such as psychologist, teachers, physicians,
nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists,
developmental therapists and parents are involved in the overall
development and implementation of a Personal Program Plan (PPP)
for each student. The importance of the PPP and its process has been
systematically established. The Developmental Centre staff implements
the program insuring that the child benefits from a consistent approach in
both home and school.

Student performance is analyzed on an ongoing basis with daily and long
term records kept in order to detect and monitor change. This allows for
a more accurate individualized student program. Periodic reassessments
are made by all disciplines to monitor overall student progress.
