     An underlying principle of Catholic education is 
recognition of the fact that all human beings 
possess a unique dignity and an independent value.
The quality of a society and a civilization is measured 
by the respect shown to the weakest of its members.
     The Developmental Centre Program is established in the Moose Jaw Catholic
School Division as a specialized Alternative Education Program designed to
assist the students in becoming as independent as possible.
 
    Instruction is based on the principles of individualization, actualization,
normalization, least restrictive environment, age appropriateness and 
functionality with emphasis on the following domains:

-toileting, eating, grooming, dressing etc.
